Become a FriendIf you, or someone you know would like to get involved and become a Friend of the ECTC, then either complete the form on the bottem of the page, or download and complete the Become A Friend Application Form (PDF, 80KB) to submit your application to the charities. New members will receive a welcome letter, car sticker, membership card etc. Benefits of membership will entitle you to a news letter. For a year's membership of the ECTC, we ask for a minimum donation of £10.00. We ask that you declare all donations you make, including this one, as a "Gift Aid Donation" by ticking the "Gift Aid" declaration at the bottom of the form. The Gift Aid scheme, allows the ECTC to reclaim the tax therefore increasing your donation by up to 25p for every pound donated, at no extra cost to you. All donations qualify - large or small, regular or one-off, and whatever the method of payment. To qualify as a Gift Aid donation, you must be a UK resident paying either income tax or capital gains tax equal to the tax rate the ECTC reclaims. The charity has no employees, the expenses are kept to a minimum, so nearly all your monies goes to benefit the children of East Anglia, including a Christmas party, a trip to the Circus, Pantomime, Easter Outing, Hunt the Teaddy Bear, Santa Pod, the yearly Children's Convoy and Trip to Colchester Zoo. At present, the charity cannot receive payments electronically on this website and we ask therefore you make your payment by cheque or postal order or fill out the form below for a redirect to our page at "www.mycharitypage. com".
