What we doThe East Coast Trucker Charity is a UK registered charity, which raises monies for disadvantaged children in the East Anglia region. We host a number of standard events that are held annually, the most popular being the Children's Convoy and the Police Gala on The Royal Norfolk Showground. Interspersed between these are impulse events mostly performed or hosted by members of the club including quiz nights, fundraising meals and shows, sponsored bungee jumps, marathon runs, static stands at local shows or partaking in processions in towns and cities around the county. The East Coast Truckers club was formed in 1981 and from this the charity was formed and registered in 2001. For a more in-depth history of the ECT then please click here. The charity invites individuals or organisations to become friends of the charity and new members are requested to make an annual donation of a minimum of £10.
